Profession:
I am currently working as the Manager, Private Label Credit Cards and BP Motor Club. I have been with BP for 13 years holding various positions of increasing responsibilities. Prior experience within Amoco (merged with BP in 1999) - Environmental Coordinator for Amoco Oil Company's remediation group; Superintendent for Waste and Air Teams at the Whiting Refinery; HSE Manager for the Cooper River Chemical Plant; HSE Manager for BP Pipelines North America Inc.; and Director, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental for the Retail East Coast Business Unit. I have prior experience with US EPA Region VII and Illinois EPA, working in the Superfund and RCRA Program areas.
Personal Narrative:
My family and I recently relocated to the Chicago, IL area. I am married to Della and we have two wonderful children, Vonne and Austin.

I am an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated serving as the Illinois Area 5 Director, Nu Delta Chapter Advisor, and the Chairman of the Illinois Alpha Phi Alpha Charitable Foundation. I volunteer with the homeless shelter program PADS (Public Aid to Deliver Shelter), Project Alpha, and the Leadership Institute I am an active member of UMR's Admissions Ambassador Program, African-American Recruitment and Retention Committee, School of Mines & Metallurgy Alumni Academy, and the Chicago-area UMR Alumni Chapter.
I attend New Faith Baptist Church where Pastor Felder presides.
